Valentine's Day Stories!

Valentine's Day Story: Roses of Death!
When I was 12-years-old I was babysitting my youth pastor's son with my best friend Stephanie. We were watching a movie and I got a phone call from a boy named David in my youth group whom I had a liked for a while. The door bell rang and Stephanie took the phone from me so I could go to the door. I opened the door and a florist handed me a huge white flower box. I thought it was a nice gift for my youth pastor and his wife, but the card on top said, "To Jenny."I opened the box and found 31 long-stem red roses!!! I opened the card that said, "Here are 30 roses for knowing you 30 days and 1 for loving you! Love, David." I WAS SHOCKED BEYOND BELIEF!!!
Let's just say that's the most roses I've ever received at one time and my father who's a pastor had a serious talk with him saying, "Son, that was a nice gift, but a little too much for a 16-yr-old to give to a 12-yr-old! I've only seen that many roses at a funeral!"

I remember that. Hilarious. You were TWELVE at the time? That is so weird. We seemed so much older. That was SUCH a ridiculous big age difference then.. haha.
